Why me
I build production multi-agent systems end to end, and I'm not tied to a single vendor or tool. That means custom agent harnesses, purpose-trained agents, and the engineering disciplines that keep them reliable: context engineering, prompt and harness design, guardrails, evals, and human review at the right steps. I work across the full AI stack and understand how the models underneath are built (pre-training, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning), so the systems I design hold up outside the demo.
I also ship my own. Shprd is the first app from Genesis Labs, the studio I founded. Before that I served 21 years in the U.S. Navy and retired as a Senior Chief Machinist's Mate.
My posture on AI in ministry: it's a tool for stewardship, not a shortcut around people. Privacy first, humans in the loop, and honest about what it can't do.
